Driver Training

Unlike many of our competitors, nkl automotive do not take drivers on a self employed basis.

All of our drivers are employed by nkl automotive ltd, giving us greater control over our workforce, enabling us to therefore have greater control over timed deliveries, return of paperwork and a whole host of other issues our competitors struggle with.

All nkl automotive drivers go through extensive training on both how to drive defensively and also how to appraise a vehicle properly.

The average age of nkl automotives drivers is 58. This means our drivers are more mature, which carries benefits through to the collection, delivery and handover of the vehicle.

nkl automotive ltd actively use their in-depth driver risk assessments and are continually training their driving force by the use of externally supplied specialist driving trainers.

Those who administer the training are amongst the most highly qualified in the country and they specialise in the provision of Fleet Training Solutions under the current guidelines set out by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, the leading national organisation in reducing occupational road risk.

This training programme includes a minimum of a two day on road, competency based driving course and addresses all aspects of defensive driving irrespective of driver history. The training programme our drivers undertake is supported and complemented by our own nkl automotive driver policy, which removes incentives to speed and therefore encourages a safer driving practice.

As nkl automotive also deal with storage and refurbishment, we can offer a ‘one-stop shop’ saving our customers both time and money.
